MENINGKATKAN PROFESIONALISME GURU MELALUI PELATIHAN PTK BAGI GURU SMP NEGERI 1 CANDUNG

This article wants to provide an overview of the effectiveness of the PTK training provided by the service team to teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Candung. PTK can improve teachers' learning abilities, in addition to dealing with the most urgent problems that require handling as quickly as possible. This service activity was carried out using the CBPR method which focused on the needs of teachers who wanted training to improve their skills in carrying out PTK involving 29 teachers. To see the effectiveness of the training provided, the service team asked teachers to fill out a closed questionnaire which was distributed before and after attending the training and gave teachers the task of designing a PTK proposal. From the questionnaire and assignments given to teachers, data was obtained that this training was beneficial for teachers, could increase teachers' understanding of PTK and could improve teachers' ability to design PTK. Even though in carrying out their duties there are still teachers who are less able to design PTK proposals well, frequent practice and reading can improve the teacher's ability to design good PTK. It was concluded that the training carried out was effective in improving teachers' abilities to design and implement PTK. It is recommended that the next service team carrying out service with the PTK theme can provide training related to data analysis in PTK and compiling PTK research reports.
